New Hampshire Housing operates the Mainstream Housing Choice Voucher Program that provides rental assistance to very low-income non-elderly and elderly persons with disabilities.  

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a family whose head, spouse, or sole member is a person with disabilities. A household where a child is the only family member with a disability is not eligible for this program.
• Meet all other eligibility requirements for the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

New Hampshire Housing will coordinate housing search assistance with other agencies to assist disabled clients with locating units, including units with needed accessibility features. New Hampshire Housing has entered into agreements with several statewide, community-based and faith-based agencies to provide services to Mainstream Voucher Participants. These agencies have agreed to provide their services to assist participants to live in the community.
